My experiences, my why, and my passions are all aligned with the idea that happy teachers are what’s best for kids, and that happy, thriving teachers are the fundamental ingredient for transforming schools. 

I’ve been a non-certified teacher. I’ve been the teacher that was showered with accolades and awards from school and district leadership. I’ve been the teacher who felt lost in a negative school culture. I’ve been the teacher who flourished in a school family that was heavily supported by the community. I’ve been a happy teacher. I’ve been a miserable teacher.

Each experience from my teaching career provided me with unique lenses that I’ve used to build education companies that keep the needs of the teacher, first. Those lenses shaped me into an education consultant that travels across the United States, supporting teachers, instructionally and professionally. Those lenses molded me into the type of leader that continues to use my platforms to advocate for the development of teachers. Those lenses formed me into an executive that believes that people, including teachers, must be independently compensated for the value and skillset they bring to the organizations they serve.
